This is the Leather Mailbag just as it was made by Fred Eisen in 1974.
The straps are in the back like a traditional mail bag.
It is basically the same as the real mail bags were made but without pleats on the front body of the bag. Like a real mail bag it is made with a buckle on the front flap, a back outside pocket , and an inside divider with zipper pocket. We added a cell phone pocket inside the back outside pocket for accessibility in today's world.
This leather bag is has a stitched edge, instead of the bound edge that our regular Mailbag sports, and is lighter in weight.
